Thank You
Notes
Isabella is 3 years old diagnosed with B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She loves soups and wonders about the weather. She wishes she could go home (to Louisiana) and believes in God. She is afraid of needles and dreams of having unicorns! Her family wrote to B+:”I would like to thank the B+ Foundation for their tremendous help. Had it not been for your amazing foundation, I’m not sure what my family and I would have done. Your help has once again showed how we are not alone in this world of cancer. BE POSITIVE has helped me take some weight and worry off my shoulders. Since my youngest daughter Isabella (3) was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL my whole world shattered. Unfortunately, the world around us did not. So, for bill collectors that meant payments still needed to be billed and received. BE POSITIVE has made an impact on my family. I’m thankful that foundations such as this one exists and step in to help families such as mine. This foundation is a blessing, so I pray it’s always blessed. From my family to yours and the great foundation of BE POSITIVE, Thank you!”
Thank you so much for your recent donation. A thank you note came through today from Damian’s family – one of the families your donation allowed us to help. I hope you enjoy the rest of summer and thank you again for your support in the fight against childhood cancer!
Damian is 5 years old diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. He loves numbers and is afraid of needles. He wonders about his friends and family and believes he will be cured. He wishes to go to school and dreams of meeting super mario. His family wrote to thank B+: “My family would like to thank everyone involved in helping families who are going through difficult times. Our son, Damian was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma last year. Our life has been a roller coaster ever since he was diagnosed. We have been through many ups and downs during the course of his treatment; surgeries, chemotherapy, physical therapy, and numerous medications. Despite all this, our son has remained strong and showed us how resilient a child can be. He is an amazing kid and we thank God everyday for it.”
Dear Legacy Foundation,
Happy Holidays! Our family cannot thank you enough for being part of Fred’s footsteps. Our son was born last December and due to a birth injury he suffered several brain damaging seizures. Benjamin spent 9 days in the NICU and was diagnosed with HIE. He has difficulty managing the left side of his body and participates in physical and occupational therapy four times a week. Since his birth our family has had hard time financially. Fred’s footsteps has truly helped our family in so many ways. They allowed us to stay in our home by paying several months of mortgage. We are way beyond grateful if not for Fred’s footsteps and donors like you, things would have been much worse for our family. Thank you for your generosity! We hope you have wonderful holiday season!
Dear Legacy Foundation,
Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the Salvation Army New Day Center. This is such an amazing program. The women I have met in the program are hungry to get their lives in order, your contribution will go a long way. We appreciate you so much.
Please express our thanks to the Legacy Foundation committee for approving the grant to purchase food for the residents of The Salvation Army proposed New Day Home. We also appreciate your encouragement and support of our work and we are grateful for the faith and confidence you place in us to provide a place of safety for victims of sex trafficking. Thank you again for your compassionate generosity.
One of our graduates recently wrote “my time at St. Martin’s helped build my confidence and inspiration to do well in life… it really helped me feel better about my situation and… not focus on my disadvantages coming from the inner city. They believed in me and my potential to accomplish.” She is now a college sophomore, with plans to be a hotel general manager one day. Your generosity says to each of our students, “I believe in you and in what you can become.” Thank you for helping to build a solid foundation for lifelong achievement.
When I started Pajama Program in 2001 I never could have imagined how many children there are who need our help… in every city and state in America. The pajamas and books we send help them feel loved and comforted – like a good night hug. Thank you for sharing your love with these children.
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. Ben continues to stay positive and make slow but steady progress. I attribute this to all the support he has received from wonderful people like you.
Currently, the special needs room is functioning every Sunday and we have seen God bless our efforts. We appreciate you standing with us as we attempt to reach out to our community and those in need. Our verse for the room has become Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” So again, thank you for allowing us to bring God’s word to “such as these”.
Again, thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Stroll.
It was a wonderful feeling being able to transport my daughter and not having to impose on my friends. We have been to the pizza shop, visiting my father when he was ill, movies and Wal Mart…
