Children Should be Taught How to Think, not What to Think! - Legacy Advisors

NativityMiguel School of Scranton is an all scholarship, extended year, co-educational Catholic middle school serving students in grades 5 – 8. The school offers scholarships to children from low income families who have displayed academic promise. Their goal is to empower these students by providing a challenging academic program. The school launched a “Sponsor a Student” program and seeks funding to help in the cost of educating these students. They receive an educational program with a holistic approach developed by the Society of Jesus Fathers in 1971. The program was used in the first NativityMiguel School which opened in New York. The program allows the students to be well prepared for their secondary education and their future. The Legacy Foundation provided a scholarship grant to a deserving student who is motivated and looking to achieve and fulfill her dreams, knowing that it all starts with an education.
