During the holiday season, the Legacy Foundation provided an additional grant to City Team Ministries for their annual Adopt-a-Family program. There were over 2,500 children from low-income families in the Philadelphia area that were in need in 2010. The purpose of the program was to provide these children and their families with healthy food, toys, gifts, and other essentials in time for Christmas. These simple gifts bring hope to these families and children who often go without basic necessities. Each child made a wish list and was excited that the Legacy Foundation’s grant helped make their wishes come true during the holiday season.
