LCH Health and Community Services – Founded in 1973 and started as a bilingual social services agency named La Comunidad Hispana. Today, newly named LCH Health and Community Services, is a non-profit in Southern Chester County with 3 locations (Kennett Square, Oxford, West Grove). Their mission is to improve the health and well-being of people and communities by providing high quality healthcare, resources and social services. They strive to meet the needs of low-income residents, in particular Latino immigrants who face many challenges obtaining good health care. These services include medical, dental, pediatric care, women’s health, behavioral health, social assistance and various resources providing healthcare for everyone. No one is ever turned away because of their ability to pay! The Legacy Foundation has supported this amazing organization since 2015, providing resources such as technology for management of medical care; generator for emergency use; exam tables for their Women’s Health Center and other items to provide integrated health care and community services to all in need! Most recently, The Legacy Foundation provided a grant for the purchase of exam chairs at their new location in Oxford.
