LUCY (“Lifting Up Camden’s Youth”) Outreach offers multilingual, culturally sensitive services to low-income Camden county youth and young adults, ages 7-25, and their families. They provide educational and social opportunities outside of school. These services are designed to address the particular challenges faced by Camden’s youth such as: poverty, teen delinquency, gang and drug involvement, substance abuse in the home, teen pregnancy, and much more. The Legacy Foundation provided a grant to LUCY in May 2019 for their after school program, which is one of the many services and opportunities offered.
